Styling

Hair-styling is as major part of an artist's work in the UK. To be able to design and create a hair-style that is totally complimentary to the make-up is an important skill to have. And combined with the right costume, the picture is complete.

Barbering

Not many chaps wear their hair in a 1930's style these days so when design specifications call for a period setting, scissors and clippers are called for! It's not just for period work, either. A businessman with long flowing locks? Hmm, possibly not! And of course, styles need to be maintained over longer shoots, so regular trims are the order of the day.

Wigs

Styling, dressing, cleaning are all routine when working with wigs on a daily basis. Handling wigs with the utmost of respect is critical bearing in mind the painstaking patience and skill that is required for each wig or piece.

Facial Hair

Careful dressing, cleaning, repairing and tonging maintain continuity of appearance throughout the lifespan of the piece which is maximised with correct handling.
