Prosthetics & Bald Caps
Prosthetics

A truely rewarding area of expertise is working with prosthetic pieces. Whilst the creating of peices both simple and complex is a lengthy procedure, real respect for the intensive labour involved only comes with direct experience of making a piece.

A successful prosthetic piece needs to look as if it is part of the actor's person, and that is regardless of whether the objective is jowl-cheeks or alien-features. Careful and patient application brings the piece into reality.

Bald Caps

To ensure the cap appears to be a natural state of the character, care is required at each level of preparation; from initial measurements, through making the cap, to the final stages of hair-wrapping, application, and making-up.
